Description: The aim of the Rehabilitation Programme is to open up rehabilitation services to a more diverse market of private and voluntary sector providers, and introduce payment by results to reward providers for their success in reducing re-offending. The efficiencies generated by these reforms will allow us to extend the provision of rehabilitation support to offenders who serve a custodial sentence of less than 12 months for the first time.
