The Chinook Programme improves this capability, enabling it to form a key component of Future Force 2020. The Programme includes Project JULIUS, which upgrades the fleet with a common digital cockpit to optimise flexible employment of the aircraft, and Project NEW BUY, which will purchase 14 additional helicopters.
