Description: The Merlin Capability Sustainment Programme (MCSP) is updating 30 Merlin Mk1 aircraft to overcome existing and forecast obsolescence within the Weapon Systems Avionics to ensure sustainment of the required capability until the planned Out of Service date (2029). The converted aircraft are known as Merlin Mk 2. The Programme is also updating, as necessary, the support products and the full Merlin Training Facility at Royal Naval Air Service (RNAS) Culdrose.
